The Greater Spokane Substance Abuse Council (GSSAC) and the Northwest Alliance for Responsible Media presents “This Place”, a film about how alcohol marketing and the media impacts alcohol use. The film dramatically captures today’s underage drinking culture as it reveals the alcohol saturated-environment youth are exposed to and the impact of underage drinking.
A discussion panel will share perspectives on the social norms, public policies and community engagement needed to address the alcohol related challenges facing our society. Pizza and light snacks will be served.
