ProPublica: Best Reporting on Campaign Cash and Media

ProPublica’s reporting on campaign financing and influence has been outstanding. Their “Free the Files” app has volunteers all over the country reviewing now-public files to show who pays for ads on local television stations in swing markets. Their PAC  Track shows where SuperPACs are spending and why.
